These are top of the range genuine Brembo monoblock 6 piston front calipers, and matching rear genuine Brembo 4 piston rear calipers, including the unbeatable “radial mount” system. They’re taken from the limited edition Ford Performance Vehicles “FPV” GT R-spec factory optional Race Package. At the time of release the FPV GT R-spec was the fastest car in Australia!

Our engineers specifically selected OEM parts so that you are not locked in to one brand or one supplier. You have plenty of choice from cheap to expensive; lots of brands, lots of designs, worldwide availability, and excellent fitment.
Front : Mitsubishi Lancer EVOLUTION 10 front rotors @ 350x32mm
Rear : Nissan 370Z rear rotors @ 350x20mm.
Yes your handbrake works perfectly.
Rotors are NOT supplied in this kit because there are so many choices to suit all budgets and all applications; you can use ~$200 rotors from RDA (part number RDA7117) to ~$2000 rotors from Project Mu (part number GPRM047) and anything in-between!
If you run a Nissan Silvia / S-chassis (S13, S14, S15, 180sx, 200sx, 240sx) and you want a working handbrake, then you will need to bolt on the Skyline’s drum handbrake setup.

ENGINEERING
Here’s a few things accounted for, other than piston count and rotor size…
Rigidity (Performance)
More important than how many pistons you have is the ridigity of the braking system. The radial-mounting system is superior to the cheap axial “lug-mounting” system and it has allowed us to make these brakes +248% stiffer than our gold-standard EVO Brembo brakes, and those are already +193% stiffer than the competition, safer, higher performance, bla bla bla. Basically that all means really really high performance brakes. The R35 GT-R Brembo Killers are responsive, firm, and consistent.

Pad Contact & Pad Knockback
The brake pads do not overhang the rotor. They sit in the perfect position.
Pad knockback is literally the best it can be – because we moved the caliper lower, into the ideal location. If you look at other companies, they just put the caliper at the typical 2/10-o’clock position. Our 3/9-o’clock position means complicated engineering and harder manufacturing, but it’s worth it! The lower caliper also means a lower centre of gravity for better handling; a free side benefit of all Alpha Omega Racing brakes.
Bias / Balance @ 67% front : 33% rear
237 pages analysed, calculations made, components chosen. Long story short we have finally achieved our long-lusted bias of 67:33. This is a slightly more aggressive tune over the special edition Skyline GT-Rs. Did you know Nissan moved the bias in the base-model R34 GT-R from 70:30 to 68:32 for the special edition V-Spec, M-Spec, Nür and N1 models? They did this by creating new rear calipers and new rear rotors. This setup was never fitted to any other vehicle before or after… Nissan did all this just for 2%? All this just to sell a handful of special editions?
In terms of brake balance, 2-3% is a significant difference.

100% Bolt On
All big brake kits require you to bend, cut, or remove the dust shields to make room for the larger brakes – then we engineered the components so that everything will bolt straight on. There is no modifying, no cutting, no drilling, no adapter-on-adapter, no spacing out, nothing. No compromises!
Materials / Manufacturing
Alpha Omega Racing uses only the best for strength, rigidity and performance:
- Billet 7075-T6. This is the top of the range.
- 12.9 grade hardware. This is also top of the range.
- 100% billet CNC machining. This is also top of the range.
- These are all higher specifications than the OEM components = higher performance.
Did you know the ‘7075’ material was invented by a Japanese company and it’s used in stuff like the space shuttle, precision rifles, fighter planes, and naval warships? Very cool!

Brake Pads
The brake pads are large. Combined with the large-annulus 350mm rotors you can use a less-aggressive compound to achieve stronger stopping in a wider range of applications, for longer. Here are some common scenarios:
- You drive on the street and don’t want to chew out your rotors with agressive pads.
- Grandma crosses the road at 6am and didn’t see your machine flying towards her! Your brakes are stone cold BUT you can actually stop that beast of yours *phew*
- Drive to the track, do your track day, then drive straight home – no more installing agressive race pads in a week earlier, bedding them in, racing your race, then go home to re-install your street pads, and then bed those back in again.
- You’re cooking your current brake’s seals / dust boots after every eighteenth spirited drive. You haven’t checked, have you? lol
The genuine Ford/Brembo pads included are aimed at a mix of nice road drivability and some track work.
